Yes. Aureon's Managed WiFi service includes enterprise access points as part of the managed service; you're not purchasing hardware separately and hoping it's configured correctly. Hardware selection is based on your space, density requirements, and use case. Aureon manages the full lifecycle, including firmware updates and hardware replacement when needed.

Yes. Aureon deploys WiFi 7 access points, the latest wireless standard. WiFi 7 matters for two reasons: it uses the 6 GHz band, far less congested than the 2.4 and 5 GHz spectrum every neighboring network competes for, and it uses wider channels and multi-link operation to hold up under high device density. In practice that means steadier performance in a conference room full of laptops and headroom for the devices you'll add over the next several years.

An enterprise access point in the wrong location with default settings doesn't perform better than a consumer router. Aureon starts with a site survey to determine where APs need to go, configures security and segmentation correctly from day one, and monitors continuously so issues are caught before they affect your team.

It depends on the manufacturer and model. Aureon evaluates existing hardware during the assessment; if it meets enterprise standards and can be centrally managed, Aureon can incorporate it. If existing hardware is consumer-grade, end-of-life, or not manageable at scale, Aureon will recommend replacement as part of the service. A mixed environment is common during the transition period.

Aureon's Managed WiFi includes WPA3 encryption, network segmentation (separate SSIDs for corporate, guest, and IoT devices), role-based access controls, and device authentication policies. Firmware is kept current across all access points to eliminate known vulnerabilities. When paired with Aureon's Managed Firewall, wireless security policies are enforced at both the access point and perimeter level.

Guest WiFi runs on a completely separate network segment, isolated from your corporate systems, file shares, and internal devices. Guests access the internet without touching anything on your business network. Bandwidth limits can be applied to prevent guest traffic from affecting corporate performance, and access can be password-protected, time-limited, or captive-portal configured depending on your environment.

Central management means configuration changes and security policies are pushed across all sites consistently. Alerts are generated when thresholds are exceeded or anomalies are detected, before users experience a problem.
