Regardless of your role within risk and disaster management or business continuity, Fusion’s Solutions 2019 event in Chicago next week holds a tremendous amount of learning and networking potential.

In just its third year, the conference gathers Fusion clients from across the globe for networking, education and innovation. Aureon will once again attend and, having conference experience, can shed some light on the value and content of the more than 30 breakout sessions.

Topics covered in the three-day conference will include business continuity management, IT disaster recovery, integrated risk management, third-party management, and crisis and incident management. Three sessions Aureon staff are most eager to attend are:

• How to Approach Recovery Sequence Planning? Step-by-Step: This session looks to provide information on how to determine priorities for recovery of critical systems and processes.
• Making Fusion Your Enterprise IT Risk Dashboard: This service provides automation and notification of risk mitigation status, which has the potential to take a very cumbersome spreadsheet and incorporate it into a risk platform, saving significant staff time.
• Advanced Mobile Solutions — Managing an Incident from the Palm of your Hand: This session promises to provide best practices for managing communications during a severe business disruption from a smartphone, connecting teams when laptops or computers are unavailable.

Solutions also offers an inside look at what Fusion users are doing, how Fusion is customizing their platform and what additional creative solutions have emerged to meet the business needs of companies.

Keynote speaker John Iannarelli is a retired FBI Special Agent Executive and author of Information Governance Security — how businesses can protect their important information from loss or compromise.

And last, but certainly not least, Solutions 2019 will conclude on Wednesday with an award ceremony to honor and recognize Fusion clients performing outstanding work in the industry. Awards will be given in five various categories. Aureon is honored to be one of four corporations nominated for the Global Community Leader Award, honoring a Fusion client who has consistently gone out of their way to help peers achieve outstanding results by openly sharing experiences and ideas in the best interest of the global community.
