At Aureon Consulting, service to others is at the core of what we do. Through this service, we are able to positively impact our Clients and communities with significance and impact. See the effects of this commitment to service as we look back on some of our most impactful commitments of 2021.

Aureon Consulting Scholarship Program - For the second year in a row, Aureon Consulting was proud to award $4,500 in scholarship funds to five outstanding central Iowa students who planned to pursue STEM-related degrees at an Iowa college or university. Awarding this select group of students aligns with Aureon Consulting’s vision to help propel Iowa’s future workforce, and we are honored to support these students who plan to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Starts Right Here - In January, we donated $200 to Will Keeps’ organization, Starts Right Here, which focuses on unifying Des Moines youth and its community through arts, entertainment, and other methods of breaking down barriers. Starts Right Here is an alternative education program for Des Moines area students, which is making incredible strides – with community support – to educate, equip, and empower our youth.

Food Bank of Iowa - Also in January, Aureon Consulting made a $500 donation to Food Bank of Iowa. We are always eager to support this organization who provides food for Iowa children, families, and seniors and aims to strengthen the communities in our state.

King Elementary School - In May, we donated items to enhance the offerings in King Elementary’s teacher’s lounge including a pizza lunch and k-cups. Additionally, we donated reusable water bottles and toys for the behavioral programs within the elementary school. We were excited to express our gratitude for the educators in our community who exude their own significance and impact to central Iowa students.

Children and Families of Iowa - In June, Aureon Consulting was proud to donate $1,500 to Children & Families of Iowa (CFI), along with numerous essential needs for their local shelters. CFI’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families throughout Iowa, and at Aureon Consulting, we believe that thriving families create thriving communities.

Dorothy’s House - Dorothy’s House is a safe place for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation to discover their healing journeys through the practice of life. We were proud to donate $1,500 to this organization in June, which will support their mission of providing a foundation of healing for survivors of trafficking and exploitation.

Jack Young Memorial Foundation - The Jack Young Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded to help raise awareness and funding for the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Members of the Aureon Consulting team were honored to partake in the 10th annual event, which raises funds and awareness to Alzheimer’s in memory of a beloved central Iowan, Jack Young.

Single Parent Provision - In September, we were proud to be a sponsor of the Single Parent Provision’s 10th Annual Single Moms Christmas Dinner with a $5,000 donation toward meals for mothers attending the event. Single Parent Provision (SPP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the lives of single parents and their families. Mike Rice, Aureon Consulting President, also volunteers his time and serves on their Board of Directors.

Our community involvement from 2021 excites us as we gear up for another year of positively impacting the communities where we live and serve.
