Prostate Px Logistics

Prostate Px must be ordered by a patient's treating physician. The physician completes a requisition form and requests that the patient’s biopsy sample (already taken for diagnosis) be sent from the pathology laboratory to Aureon. Unstained sections from the needle biopsy sample will be sent to Aureon for analysis.

Patient samples are evaluated with Aureon’s System Pathology platform technology and after analysis, a report is sent to the physician within five (5) to seven (7) business days via fax with a color copy of the report sent by mail for consultation with the patient.

A logistics form describes to both the ordering physician and the pathology laboratory how samples must be provided to Aureon.
