We are looking for a highly-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in all areas of the Finance Department. Additional to performing data entry, Accounts Payable and administrative roles, the individual would work to support our Staff Accountants and Controller in daily tasks as necessary. The position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn our general ledger software (Great Plains).
Tasks:

Enter sales orders into database accurately and efficiently; Coordinate order updates through communication with sales support and laboratory staff

Work closely with billing staff to ensure orders are captured and billed in a timely matter

Assist with coding of vendor invoices

Enter Accounts Payable into our general ledger software (Great Plains)

Assist with generation of sales reports and other company metrics

Perform administrative and other duties as necessary
Required Qualifications/Background:

Associates degree is desirable

2-5 Years of Accounts Payable and/or Order Entry experience

Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook software

Team player orientation. Must be able to interact well with others across multiple departments

Must be detail oriented and well organized
