Description:
We are looking for a highly-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented data accessioning technologist to conduct the critical data entry tasks needed for our clinical and scientific databases. The individual shall serve as a liaison between Aureon’s Pathology/Laboratory staff and the ordering physician’s offices/pathology laboratories on logistics of test sample submission/return as well as preparing and maintaining clinic patient charts and reports using a database and spreadsheet software. He/She shall develop reports to track sales patterns, by sales rep, region or test, in addition to being knowledgeable of clinical/oncology-specific terminology. Excellent information management, time management, and verbal and written communication skills required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in clinical research required.

Must be able to enter into a LIMS database and keep track of multiple specimens for different tests at any given time, and ensure that the tests are resulted are mailed/faxed to the physicians in the prescribed timeframe.

Must be able to interact well with others across multiple departments.

Must be detail oriented, must be well organized, Must be computer literate, must have good customer service and communication skills. A basic clinical knowledge and vocabulary is required.

Must be familiar with Word and Excel to manipulate spreadsheet data. Must have a basic knowledge of databases and be able to run basic database queries.
This is a full-time position located in our Yonkers, New York office.
