Medical Reporting Administrator

Description:

We are looking for a highly-motivated, well-organized individual to perform medical transcription, medical report compilation, and data entry. Additional to performing medical transcription and data entry roles, the individual would work to support our CDC (Clinical Data Coordinator), SSR (Sales Support Representative) and in daily tasks as well as basic data entry of clinical and patient information within internal informatics systems. The position would also entail working in the specimen accessioning area within the lab space and providing customer support services as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical or laboratory related field is preferred
  • A basic medical and clinical knowledge and vocabulary would be desirable
  • Be able to type a minimum 60 WPM
  • Must be computer proficient with PC’s and Windows environment
  • Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad, and Outlook software
  • Must be able to interact well with others across multiple departments
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Must have good customer service and communication skills

This is a full-time position located in our Yonkers, New York office.
